You felt that you were lying on something soft. You opend your eyes and saw that you are lying on a big bed. The covers are blood red, you were about to sit up but you couldn't move your body. It was green roots from flowers that was tied around your body. "What the hell!" you screamed in panic. You tried to remember what was happening but you can't the negative energy is overwhelming. You tried to wiggle out of the roots but then you hear footsteps, the door opend and there you saw a man. You recognised him at once what was his name again? Right Arthur Kirkland. "Wait a minute isn't he a demon!" You thought

"It's nice to see you are awake poppet" He said and walked to the bed and sat beside you

"Get away from me!" you said and tried to back up

"Love please calm down" he said

"How can I calm down?! You kidnapped me and will probably kill me!" you said in panic

"I will never hurt my wife poppet and I promise to take care of you" he said gently and stoke your hair. You flinched a bit.

"I don't want to be your wife I'm not ready for something like that" you said

"You have to poppet I really like you" he said

"I don't want to and we don't know each other" you said

"Oh yes we do, I have known you ever since you were a little girl, I know you more than you know yourself (Name)" He said

"What?" you asked confused

"Remember your old friend Pookie?" He grinned, you gasped Pookie was your invisible friend you used to have when you were little.

"Yes love that't me" he said

"It can't be..." you said and looked down

"It's true you always came to me if the mean children teased you or if something exciting was about to happen, you had a strong imagination, you told me everyting, even your deepest secrets, I was your best friend" Arthur said

You didn't know what to say or think now, your mind was all blank to you. Your old invisible friend turned out to be a demon that wanted you to be his wife. The negative energy is eating you from the inside. Making you weak and sad, you thought about you parents will you ever see them again?

You blinked a few times and feel the tears ran down your cheeks you looked away, you didn't want him to see you cry like a baby. You tried once again to get free from the roots even though it was useless.

"Love don't cry" Arthur said with concerned, he put you in his lap and stroke your hair with one hand and let your head rest in his chest.

"Hush love I'm here" he said gently

"I want to go home, I want my mom" you whispered and cried even more

"I can't promise you that love but what I can promise is that I will protect you" he said and kissed your forhead. Even though you hate him you felt a little bit better and for some reason you like his scent. You didn't know what he smells like but he smells good.

"Poppet I remember that your mother used to sing lullabies when you were little, when you cried" he said, you nodded

"I can sing (favourite lullaby) if you want to" he proposed

"No I'm not a child anymore!" you said

"I just want to make you feel better" he said

"All I want is to go home!" you said and brust out with more tears and hide your face in his chest

"Shhh poppet I think all you need is sleep, I know the energy here is taking over you all you need is some sleep and eat the food here and then you will get your strength back" he said

"I don't want to sleep" you said

"I think you will" He said he rested his head over yours and sing your favourite lullaby even though you told him not to. His voice was beautiful and you slowly began to close your eyes. He carefully untie the roots that bound you and lay you gently down on the bed.

He lie beside you and pulled the red covers over you two. He pulled you in a warm protective embrace and he tail wrapped around your waist. He kissed your cheek and drifted off to sleep. He have never felt so alive ever since he saw you at that dinner. He doesn't know what this feeling is, is it possible that he is in love? It is rare for demons to fall in love. They only used humans for their desires and then kill them.
You have grown up so fast, last time he saw you was when you were little. When you got older you didn't need him anymore. So he promised to come back when the time was right.

He knows that it is dangerous to bring a human in this dimension. There will be other demons out there who will try to hurt you or use you for their desires. But whatever it takes he will protect you.
